Novaliches Police Station nabs its No. 1 Most Wanted Person

Novaliches Police Station 4 (PS4) operatives nabbed the station’s Most Wanted Person (MWP) in San Ildefonso, Bulacan this morning.

This was announced by Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, Police Brig. Gen. Danilo Macerin, who identified the suspect as Gilbert Veneranda, 53 years old, a native of Masbate, and a resident of No. 6 Baco St., Amparo Subdivision, Brgy. Nagkaisang Nayon, Novaliches, Quezon City.

He was arrested at about 9:40 am today by operatives led by P/Lt. Col. Richard Ian Ang at Andrew St., Borja Subdivision, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.

Veneranda is listed as No. 1 Most Wanted Person of PS 4 and with pending Warrant of Arrest for Violation of R.A. 8353, otherwise known as “The Anti-Rape Law of 1997” docketed under Criminal Case No. R-QZN-17-00595-CR issued by Hon. Marilou D. Nuñes-Tamang, the Acting Presiding Judge of Branch 98, Regional Trial Court, Quezon City.

No bail was recommended for Veneranda.

Meanwhile, Police Station (PS 15) operatives, under the command of P/Lt. Col. Hendrix Mangaldan, arrested Rosalinda Jose, 49 years old, and a resident of 60 Davao St., Brgy. Alicia, Quezon City, at about 9:15 am today.

Jose was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of B.P. 22 docketed under Criminal Case No. M-MNL-19-01935-CR issued by Hon. Jennifer B. Escorpezo-Bayaua, the Presiding Judge of Branch 13, Municipal Trial Court, Manila.

Bail was set at Php6,000.

PBGen. Macerin lauded the police officers for the arrest of the Wanted Persons, which is part of the QCPD’s relentless campaign against criminality.
