No. 1 Most Wanted Person in Quezon nabbed

CAMP GUILLERMO NAKAR, LUCENA City – Police nabbed a 26-year-old man who is said to be the top 1 most wanted person in the province of Quezon in a manhunt operation in the municipality of Agdangan on Monday, November 23.

In his report to Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) Director Brig. General Audie Madrideo, Police Lt. Elmer Joseph Gibe, the Agdangan Municipal Police station chief with his formed tracker team managed to locate the hideout of suspect Ariel Atienza in Sitio Balut, Barangay Ibabang Kinanugan around 9:00 a.m.

Armed with warrant of arrest issued by Judge Aristotle M. Reyes, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 15 in Lucena City, for the crime of Rape with no bail recommended.   

Atienzas’ arrest stemmed from a rape incident that transpired sometime in July 2019 at Barangay Silangan Maligaya, wherein he sexually assaulted and abused a “Person with Disability” (PWD) inside their house on the said date.

Suspect is now in full custody of the Agdangan Police.
