Another 1M of Sinovac vaccines arrive in PH, Sinovac deliveries hit 12-M
THE Philippines today, Monday, June 28, welcomed another batch of CoronaVac COVID-19 vaccines from Chinese bio-firm Sinovac.
The one million more doses of CoronaVac vaccines is the fifth batch from China’s Sinovac Biotech to arrive this month.
The latest batch brings to 6.5 million the number of CoronaVac doses delivered to the country this June. To date, Sinovac has shipped a total of 12 million doses of its vaccines to the Philippines since February.
The vaccines were received at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport by National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF COVID-19) Chief Implementer and vaccine czar Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr. and Department of Health Sec. Francisco Duque III.
