Modern transport terminal opens in Mariveles, Bataan

FAB Central Terminal, a modern transport terminal deemed as the central hub of Mariveles, is now open for commuters and travelers and will cater to all transport vehicles going in and out of Mariveles, connecting the first-class municipality to the rest of Bataan and the provinces of Luzon.

The 4,500-square meter facility can accommodate various vehicles, with a two-zone allotment for tricycles, 11 slots for Public Utility Jeepneys (PUJs), 16 slots for regular buses and 9 slots for minibuses. There are also 30 commercial stalls and two restaurant facilities and can service 1,500 individuals every hour with provision for expansion.

FAB Central is the first project of the Hausland Group, through Hausland Commercial, the group’s commercial arm. For over 35 years, the Pampanga-based developer has opened 52 subdivision projects in North and Central Luzon.

The new enterprise is engaged in the business of leasing and renting of commercial spaces in high-end, mixed-use developments.

The upcoming FAB Central is a mixed-use development project of a 5.9 hectare-property, a partnership between Hausland Group and the Authority of Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB).

The site will feature a central transport terminal facility, a commercial mall area with several drive-thru prime retail commercial lots spaces, a heritage tourism spot featuring The Bataan Death March, commercial offices area for tech-based companies and BPOs, hotels and recreational areas.

During the FAB Central Terminal groundbreaking, Hausland Group CEO, Atty. Christopher Ryan Tan, said, “We link ourselves from the edge of the peninsula to the new gateway to Luzon via the Bataan-Cavite interlink bridge and the new port area. We link this piece of land to possibilities that technology, convenience, and strong partnerships can bring. FAB Central: linking possibilities because on this site, with your help, FAB’s and our LGU’s leadership, we’ll reach the impossible.”

The event was graced by Bataan local officials headed by Bataan 3rd District Rep. Maria Angela Garcia, Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Mariveles Mayor AJ Concepcion and SB Mariveles Members, AFAB Administrator Emmanuel Pineda, locators and transport groups.
