Michael Rama returns to Cebu City Hall after suspension, faces clamped car incident

MICHAEL Rama, who was ordered dismissed by the Office of the Ombudsman, returned to Cebu City Hall on the morning of Monday, December 2, asserting that he had resumed his former post following the lapse of his six-month suspension in early November.

Rama held a press conference outside the Cebu City Hall, near the iconic Magellan’s Cross, to announce his return. He revealed that he had entered the city hall before office hours and visited various offices inside the building.

After addressing the media, Rama went back inside the city hall to use the restroom.

Accompanied by a group of reporters, he exited through the new building where his private car was parked in a spot designated for the city mayor. Upon reaching his vehicle, Rama discovered it had been immobilized with a wheel clamp.
