THE camp of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. belittled the petitions filed against the former senator, calling them mere “nuisance.”

A total of eight petitions have already been filed with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) that sought to disqualify Marcos.

In an interview, Atty. Vic Rodriguez, Marcos’ chief of staff and spokesperson, urged those behind the petitions to respect Filipinos and their freedom to decide and choose whom they deem as a better qualified leader.

It would also be good to put a stop to belittling the capability of Filipinos to think, he added.

Rodriguez pointed out that the outcome of the elections is decided on the day of the elections and not through the filing of useless petitions.

However, he mentioned that the legal team of Marcos is already preparing their answers to the petitions.
