A 41-year-old man decided to end his life by hanging at the second floor of their house in Malabon City.
The man is suspected of suffering from depression.
According to Tugatog Police Sub-Station Commander P/Capt. Andres Victoriano, the lifeless body of Maximino Bello was discovered by his 15-year-old niece hanging using a piece of rope at the second floor of his house located at 111-14 Acero St. Brgy. Tugatog at around 10 a.m.
The teenager immediately told her sister Lei Frances, 26, about the incident. They then cut the rope around the victim’s neck with the help of neighbors.
The incident was already reported to the police by the victim’s relatives, who said the victim is undergoing depression because of a lumbar spine condition,
