Nasa 122 aktibong pulis ang inalis sa listahan bilang mga nasasangkot sa ilegal na droga sa ibat ibang lugar sa bansa.
Ito ay matapos maisailalim sa adjudication process ang mga nasangkot na PNP personnel.
“For the status of adjudication of NWID (National Watchlist on Illegal Drugs), for the 357 [police officers in the] national watchlist, we have removed 122, we have retained 229 and delisted six,” pahayag mismo ni PNP Chief General Camilo Cascolan Jr, sa kanyang kauna unahang press briefing sa Camp Crame kahapon.
Ayon kay Cascolan, anim sa na alis na pulis sa listahan ay pawang mga namatay na habang ang mga natira ay patuloy na isasailalim sa “evaluation” ng mga PNP investigators kahit dumaan na ang mga ito sa adjudication process.
“Kahit na-adjudicate kita ngayon, we will continue to adjudicate and evaluate you and we will continue to monitor each one of you, not only those who are involved in this list but all PNP personnel in our organization,” saad pa ni Cascolan.
“Nobody knows, not even one of them knows if they were cleared or not. Nobody knows, we just told them they could go back, everybody could go back, and they can go to their areas of residences,” dagdag pa ng chief PNP.
Ang nasa 357 mga tinaguriang narco-cops ay una ng pinabalik sa kanilang national headquarters ng mismong nagretirong PNP Chief Archie Gamboa at inatasang mag report sa kanyang tanggapan para isailalim sa naturang proseso.
Paliwanag ni Cascolan, magtatatag anya ang PNP ng case build up laban sa natitirang mga pulis na nasa listahan at isasailalim din sila sa regular na evaluation.
“Adjudication is continuing. It will be evaluated periodically and we will do that not only to those who are not cleared but even to those who are not cleared but even to those who have been cleared earlier,” ani pa ni Cascolan.
