LPG prices seen to decline next week — DOE

THE Department of Energy (DOE) is seeing indications that may cause the lowering of prices of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) next week.

During the Laging Handa public briefing, DOE Undersecretary Gerardo Erguiza Jr. that they are seeing a trend in the decline of prices starting from last week up to this week.

From April 1, the prices of 11-kg LPG tanks range from P915 to about P1,135.

Erquiza is hoping that the war between Ukraine and Russia will be resolved soon to avert any problems regarding oil supply.

For now, Erguiza said the country has now gotten past the fluctuation period in the prices of petroleum products.

He likewise appealed to the public extend their patience.

He said the DOE is hoping that the prices of petroleum products in the world market will become stable very soon.
