Indo female suicide bomber, two other terrorists captured by gov’t forces

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – A joint law enforcement operation between members of the 11th Infantry “Alakdan” Division (11ID) of the Philippine Army, the Philippine National Police (PNP) and other government forces resulted in the apprehension of an Indonesian female suicide bomber and two others suspected terrorists just today, Saturday, October 10, 2020.

Authorities implemented the search warrant to the house of local terrorist group sub-leader Ben Quirino Yadah alias Ben Tatoo at Sitio Kuppong, Barangay San Raymundo, Jolo, Sulu.

The search resulted in the arrest of Nana Isirani also known as Renzy “Cici” Fantasya Rullie, an Indonesian female bomber and two other suspected terrorists named Nur Aina Alihasan also known as Inda Nhur, and Fatima Sandra Jimlani Jama, both wives of Abu Sayyaf Group members.

Seized from their possession were several components used in making improvised explosive devices.

The three are believed to be planning for their next suicide bombing.

The Philippine Army Commanding General Lt. General Cirilito Sobejana, commends the combined efforts of the 11ID and its counterparts for the successful operation.

“The arrest of these individuals, is a manifestation that the Army and its subordinate units are now more capacitated to find, fix, fight, and finish the enemy. We will continue to support our troops on the ground as they go after these threats and keep our communities safe,” Sobejana said.
