Global death toll in COVID-19 pandemic reaches more than a million

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) global deaths has reached 1.19 million.

According to the latest record, the total number of deaths in different countries around the world has risen to 1,193,909.

The United States still leads with the highest number of casualties due to COVID-19 with 235,159.

This was followed by Brazil with 159,562 deaths while there are 121,681 death tolls in India and 91,289 were reported in Mexico.

Here are the lists of the COVID-19 deaths recorded in other countries and territories:

– United Kingdom – 46,229

– Italy – 38,321

– France – 36,565

– Spain – 35,878

– Iran – 34,478

– Peru – 34,411

– Colombia – 31,135

– Argentina – 30,792

– Russia – 27,656

Meanwhile, the latest data also shows that a total of 45,921,698 people have been infected in various countries and 33,252,218 total recoveries worldwide.
