ANGELES, PAMPANGA–Häfele, a German brand of intelligent hardware technology, lighting and electronic locking systems, and home appliances, announced here its partnership with the Savers Group Holdings, Inc., a leading firm in Pampanga for the opening of Häfele’s experiential showroom at the Savers Appliances store in this city.
Häfele Philippines Managing Director Roland Poehlmann, in his opening remarks, said “We appreciate their desire for us to work together and collaborate with each other so that we can serve customers in Pampanga and even beyond.”
“At present, Häfele has more than 200,000 kinds of product offerings worldwide, and for the Philippines, what we are aiming for is for every Filipino household to own at least one Häfele product,” Poehlmann added.
Poehlmann is also proud that since Häfele Philippines’ establishment in 1991, it already has five nationwide offices, four warehouses, 15 showrooms, almost 400 outlets and employs almost 300 professionals across the country. “Häfele will continue on its mission of bringing innovative and complete building solutions by providing German technology to meet customer needs.”
For his part, Jansen Uy, General Manager of Savers Appliances, which now has over 50 brands and 37 stores nationwide from the northern part of the Philippines to as far down south as Cebu, is excited to grow even further the number of brands in Savers Appliances through its partnership with Häfele.
“Savers Appliances is not just an appliance but an end-to-end solutions provider, from design to service, consultation on purchase, and installation and maintenance. This partnership with Häfele is exciting because we will offer our customers the exact same scenario because Häfele and Savers do not only sell appliances, but we also sell solutions to solve everyday problems of Filipino consumers,” Uy said during the event.
He said what also excites Savers Appliances, which is under the Savers Group Holdings, is that the Häfele showroom inside their selling area will be a truly experiential one. “What excites us as well is that we can now offer not just appliances but also hardware solutions,” he added.
As for Häfele Philippines National Sales Director Ramon Antonio Medina, the partnership with the Savers Group is really something that Häfele has been looking forward to and been dreaming long enough to reach out to more consumers not just through Häfele’s own showrooms, specifically in Luzon. “For this we had to pick the right partner because we don’t usually go into just any partnership. We have to choose the right one, just like in marriage, and we believe that Savers is the right partner,” he said.
“Certainly, they have the best capability because they have not just the infrastructure but they also have the service, which is the number one consideration of consumers,” Medina added.
