More than 2,300 new cases of Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19 have been reported in the country, the Department of Health reported on Sunday.
According to the latest data from DOH, there have been 356,618 confirmed cases of infectious diseases in the country and of that number, 39,808 are active cases.
The health department said that 82.8 percent of active COVID-19 cases are mild; 11.5 percent asymptomatic; 1.9 percent are severe while 3.7 percent are in critical condition.
About 50 were reported additional deaths which resulted to a total of 6,652.
The total recoveries from COVID-19 in the Philippines have risen to 310,158 with 14,941 added today.
