NANAWAGAN ang Simbahang Katolika sa mga mananampalataya na ipagdasal ang Santo Papa na nagpapagaling ngayon sa ospital sa Roma matapos ang kanyang colon surgery.
Sa inilabas na pahayag ni Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) president at Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles, hinimok nito ang mga tao na mag-alay ng panalangin para sa tuluyang paggaling ng Santo Papa.
“We remember his beautiful and very inspiring Apostolic Visit to our county in 2015. We continue to feel his love for the Filipino people. In this particular time, let us show our love and affection for him,” pahayag ni Arsobispo Valles.
“Let us pray together – clergy, religious and consecrated persons, our covenanted communities, our lay faithful, – for the complete recovery of Pope Francis.”
Sa ulat mula sa Vatican na nauna nang ibinahagi ng CBCP, nasa maayos na kalagayan na si Pope Francis matapos siyang maoperahan.
Mananatili naman si Pope Francis ng pitong araw sa ospital.
