Bulacan hands over aid typhoon-hit Catanduanes

Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando handed over two cheques to the provincial government of Catanduanes that represents Bulacan’s efforts to come to the aid of Catanduanes, which was badly hit by Typhoon Rolly last year.

The amount of P500,000 came from the Provincial Government of Bulacan, while the cheque worth P169,285 was collected from the donation drive dubbed as “Tulong Bulakenyo para sa Nasalanta ng Bagyo.”

The two cheques were turned over to Neil Sanchez Del Valle, Local Revenue Collection Officer I of the Provincial Government of Catanduanes.

Aside from cash, the Bulacan provincial government also donated 1,300 packs of relief goods, each with four kilos of rice, five assorted canned goods, and four assorted items such as noodles, cereals and coffee; 11 sacks of 25 kilos of rice; 149 sacks of 10 kilos of rice; and six sacks of 5 kilos of rice, all done recently at the Official Residence, City of Malolos, Bulacan.
