KAPUSO actress Bea Alonzo has confirmed on Monday her relationship with fellow celebrity Dominic Roque as official.
After sharing sets of intimate photos on Instagram during their trip abroad, several public assumptions about their relationship were thrown at the couple over the past months.
The actress only revealed their real status in an interview with “24 Oras” where she explained that suppressing herself to announce their relationship in public apparently did not cross her mind.
“It wasn’t as if, like, masyado ko siyang plano or masyado ako nag-hold back. (it was really planned or I was really trying to hold back) It just came out naturally. It’s not like I was trying to hide it. I think I was trying to be careful given my past experience,” Alonzo explained.
With her experiences on previous boyfriends, the actress admitted that she now had to assure first and see to what extent would their relationship go before making it official.
Alonzo also expressed that her past experiences made her afraid to commit yet another mistake in front of the public but learned how to be careful, how to move forward and thinks that her romance with Roque is worth-sharing.
“We only live once and happiness is best when shared. I want to share my happiness,” the actress emphasized.
“Even sa mga past relationships ko, hindi naman ako super open about it. I think most treasured moments ng isang relationship ay ‘yung moments na hindi nasi-share sa social media. And I want to keep it that way,” she added.
