As Filipinos prepare for another busy Christmas season filled with family reunions, holiday shopping, office parties, and other celebrations, McDonald’s Philippines is encouraging everyone to slow down and appreciate the simple moments that make the holidays meaningful through its latest campaign, “McDo Muna.”
The campaign highlights how small, everyday experiences—whether taking a break from Christmas shopping, sharing a laugh with colleagues during party rehearsals, or spending time with family while decorating the Christmas tree—can create lasting memories amid the holiday rush.
According to McDonald’s Philippines, the initiative aims to remind Filipinos that meaningful connections do not always require grand celebrations. Sometimes, a quick meal or an unexpected treat shared with loved ones can make the season more memorable.
“Christmas is filled with grand celebrations and traditions, but some of its most meaningful moments happen in the small, everyday pauses. It’s the after-party catch-ups with friends, the spontaneous stops to take a break from all the family shopping runs, and little breaks we share with officemates that deepen our appreciation of the season,” according to Yves O. Nacpil, Marketing Director of McDonald’s Philippines.
“‘McDo Muna’ is our way of inviting Filipinos to make room for these moments and show how McDonald’s can be part of the small pauses with loved ones that make the season feel special,” he added.
To bring the campaign to life, McDonald’s Philippines has released a series of holiday-themed films depicting relatable Filipino experiences during the Christmas season. The stories emphasize how brief moments of togetherness can provide warmth and connection amid packed schedules and holiday preparations.
The company is also preparing to introduce a special holiday menu, promotional deals, and other experiences designed to give customers more opportunities to celebrate the season with family and friends.
“We hope the McDo Muna invitation inspires Filipinos to appreciate the moments during this holiday season that might otherwise pass them by. This Christmas, we’re bringing that spirit to life through experiences and offerings that invite everyone to pause, reconnect, and enjoy the season in their own way,” Nacpil said.
He added that customers can look forward to holiday offerings and memorable experiences at McDonald’s restaurants in the coming weeks.
Through the campaign, McDonald’s Philippines hopes to position its restaurants as convenient places for families, friends, classmates, and colleagues to reconnect during the holiday season, even without a special occasion.
As Christmas preparations intensify, the company reminds Filipinos that the spirit of the season can also be found in spontaneous conversations, shared meals, and simple moments spent together.
