Foundever Philippines Empowers 4Ps Beneficiaries Through Learn2Employ Program, Creating Pathways to Sustainable Careers

Foundever® in the Philippines has taken a significant step toward empowering underprivileged communities through its Learn2Employ initiative: a job-readiness program designed to enhance the employability of beneficiaries under the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). The initiative aims to equip participants with essential skills needed to thrive in the country’s fast-growing customer experience (CX) industry.

Launched in July and August this year, Learn2Employ was conducted at two major sites: Alabang Central Market in Muntinlupa City and the Mandaluyong City Protection Center for Women, Children, and LGBTQIA+. The program provided comprehensive job-readiness training focused on developing communication, customer service, and industry-specific competencies that meet the demands of the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector.

A total of 124 4Ps beneficiaries completed the program — 74 participants from Muntinlupa and 50 from Mandaluyong. Upon completing their training, all participants were given the opportunity to apply for positions at Foundever. Of the group, seven trainees were successfully hired, highlighting the direct employment impact and effectiveness of the initiative.

“The Learn2Employ initiative represents our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for every Filipino, regardless of their background. We believe that with the right training and support, 4Ps beneficiaries can become valuable contributors to the BPO industry while building sustainable careers for their families,” according to Willy Lim, Vice President for HR, Marketing and Talent Acquisition of Foundever in the Philippines, China and Malaysia.

Beyond immediate job placements, the Learn2Employ program underscores Foundever’s broader mission of inclusive workforce development. The company’s approach bridges the gap between education and employment by providing participants with practical, industry-relevant training, a key factor in addressing the skills mismatch often seen among job seekers from underserved communities.

“Seeing seven of our trainees transition directly into employment with us is incredibly rewarding, but the real success is in empowering all 124 participants with skills they can use throughout their careers,” added Lim. “This initiative demonstrates how targeted skills development can create pathways to economic mobility and growth for underserved communities.”

Through Learn2Employ, Foundever in the Philippines continues to strengthen its role as a socially responsible organization that invests in human capital. The program not only provides employment opportunities but also aligns with national goals for poverty reduction and inclusive growth.
