QCPD implements 8-Hour shift system to boost police efficiency and public safety

In line with the directive of PNP Chief, Police General Nicolas D. Torre III, to implement an 8-hour duty shift for police personnel, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under the leadership of Police Colonel Randy Glenn G. Silvio, has rolled out a structured three-shift deployment system to ensure more responsive and effective public service.

The duty shifts are scheduled as follows:

6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

This system guarantees 24/7 police visibility and coverage across all areas of Quezon City.

“This initiative promotes the physical and mental well-being of our personnel, enhances operational efficiency, and ensures that our officers are always alert and ready to serve,” said PCOL Silvio. “It reinforces our unwavering commitment to delivering swift, effective, and people-centered policing throughout the city.”
