Comelec extends online voting enrolment period for overseas Filipinos

THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced that it is extending the deadline for Online Voting and Counting System Pre-Voting Enrollment for the May 12, 2025 midterm elections.

The poll body released a resolution this afternoon that effectively extends the enrolment of overseas Filipinos up to May 10 from the original deadline of May 7.

This extension of online voting enrolment was made to give Filipinos working or living overseas the opportunity to enroll and vote in the upcoming elections.

At present, there are more than 200,000 overseas Filipinos who already enrolled so that they may be able to vote, explains Comelec chief George Erwin Garcia.

The national and local mid-term elections will be held on May 12, 2025, which was already declared as a special non-working holiday nationwide.
