Motorists will encounter higher pump prices starting Tuesday, as oil companies impose another round of fuel price hikes.
In separate advisories on Monday, Seaoil, Petro Gazz, Cleanfuel, and Shell Pilipinas announced that gasoline prices would rise by ₱0.70 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices would increase by ₱0.40 and ₱0.20 per liter, respectively.
Industry sources warned last week that potential supply disruptions in the global market—particularly due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine—could drive petroleum prices even higher in the coming weeks.
Fuel retailers typically announce price adjustments on Mondays, with the new rates taking effect the following day.
