Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson played an unstoppable third quarter performance to lead Gilas Pilipinas over China, 96-75 in their last game in the FIBA World Cup tonight.
Clarkson hit five consecutive three-pointers before the end of the third quarter to help the Philippine national team a 23-point lead that left the Chinese in disarray and was never the same team that was leading at the start of the second half.
Clarkson was the game’s top scorer with 34 points.
This is the only win of Gilas in its 5 games in the tournament.
