A GROUP of obstetricians-gynecologists said that taking the COVID-19 jab won’t reduce the ability to impregnate or getting pregnant.
Instead, Dr. Sybil Bravo of the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (POGS) said that vaccines are even recommended for those who want to get pregnant in order to gain added protection from the dreaded disease.
Bravo ensured that vaccines won’t help reduce the sperm count of males and will not weaken the ability of women to get pregnant.
On the other hand, Dr. Marlyn Dee, POGS vice president, said that what affects any pregnancy is when there’s a disease or ailment that causes stress in an individual.
