A BRAND-new batch of COVID-19 vaccines from Moderna arrived today at the NAIA Terminal 3 in Pasay City at around 3:30 p.m. via Singapore Airlines flight SQ912.
On hand to receive the vaccines were National Task Force against COVID-19 Chief Implementer and vaccine czar Carlito Galvez, Jr. (right) and Clare Bea, Environmental, Science, Technology and Health unit chief from the US Embassy.
The 469,200 doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccines were procured by the national government and the private sector. A total of 319,200 doses will go to the Philippine government while 150,000 doses will go to the private sector led by ICTSI.
