Inalis sa kanyang pinagsisilbihang parokya sa Pampanga ang isang paring Katoliko na inaakusahan ng isang mister sa isang viral video na nakikipagrelasyon sa kanyang misis.
Sa isang pahayag na inisyu nitong Mayo 6, sinabi ni San Fernando Archbishop Florentino Lavarias na ang aksiyon ay kanilang isinagawa habang iniimbestigahan pa ang naturang pangyayari.
“Regarding the recent issue involving a priest of the Archdiocese and the affected family, I want to assure the faithful that the Office of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Fernando (RCASF) continues to reach out to the parties concerned to have a better appreciation of the situational canvass, with the ultimate objective of seeking the truth and offering pastoral guidance and support,” ani Lavarias.
“In the meantime, given the sensitive nature of the matter, and as a preliminary move, the archdiocese has resolved to remove the priest from his parish assignment,” bahagi ng pahayag ni Lavarias.
“The RCASF reserves the right to take appropriate actions as a more thorough investigation progresses, after the receipt of a formal complaint from the concerned party,” ani pa nito.
Nauna rito, isang video ang nag-viral kamakailan kung saan makikita ang isang mister na galit na galit na kinukompronta ang isang pari dahil sa umano’y pakikipag-relasyon sa kanyang asawa.
Hindi naman tinukoy ng arkidiyosesis ang pangalan ng pari sa kanilang pahayag at sa halip ay umapela sa publiko na respetuhin ang privacy, identity at karapatan ng mga partidong sangkot sa isyu.
