Mandaluyong manpower center to hold Community Pantry activity

The Mandaluyong Manpower and Technical Vocational Training Center (MMTVTC) will hold its own version of the popular pro-poor initiative Community Pantry for residents of Brgy. Addition Hills tomorrow, May 2, 2021.

The event will start at 9 a.m. and will be held at the MMTVTC headquarters, Welfareville Compound corner Acacia Lane, Brgy Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City.

MMTVTC chief Ma. Majella Tampinco said this will be the center’s 3rd undertaking of the Community Pantry, which they started last April 20, 2021. For each of the activities, they were able to cater to the needs of at least 300 persons.

Their last initiative was in partnership with the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

For tomorrow’s activity, Tampinco’s former students at the St. Mary’s Academy of Sta. Ana, Manila donated assorted goods for distribution during the Community Pantry.

Physical distancing is observed

Tampinco assures that minimum public health standards such as proper wearing of face masks and face shields, including physical distancing, are strictly observed.
