MAY libreng anim na buwang insurance coverage mula sa Etiqa Philippines ang kabuuang 28,000 pulis ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) at Southern Police District Office (SPDO) para sa pneumonia-related hospitalization expenses kabilang na ang sanhi ng COVID-19.
Kasunod ito ng nilagdaang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sa pagitan nina NCRPO Regional Director Brigadier General Vicente Danao Jr., SPD District Director Brigadier General Emmanuel Peralta, EVP at pinuno ng Etiqa Philippine’s Strategic Division Diana binti Mohamad at Rico Bautista, ang Presidente at CEO ng Etiqa Philippines.
Sa pamamagitan ng E-ZY Pneumonia Plan ng naturang kumpanya, sakop nito ang P50,000 halaga ng room/board at general hospital services at hanggang P10,000 accidental death at dismemberment benefits ng mga pulis.
Umaasa ang Etiqa Philippines na makatutulong ito na maibsan ang pag-aalala ng mga pulis para sa kanilang kalusugan habang naghihintay ng epektibong bakuna kontra COVID-19.
“As society confronts the realities of the current pandemic, our police plays an ever more important part in protecting our communities during this stretch of quarantine, in the spirit of Bayanihan, we want to show our appreciation to them by offering coverage for one of the most common complications of severe COVID-19.We hope that this allows them to carry on their important work while lessening their worries from any unforeseen medical needs,” ani Bautista.
