180 new soldiers to augment Army force in Luzon

FORT RAMON MAGSAYSAY, NUEVA ECIJA – A total of 180 new soldiers were added to the manpower of the 7th Infantry Division (7ID) after graduating the Candidate Soldier Course (CSC) Class 632, cross trained with Jungle Warfare and Mountain Orientation Course at the Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.

According to Commander Major General Alfredo Rosario Jr., these new soldiers should be the embodiment of discipline and integrity, and should always be responsible defenders of the Filipino people.

He said to the new soldiers that carrying a firearm is a responsibility, and should only be used to defend life and freedom.

The CSC Class 632 named themselves SIKLAB, which stands for “Sandatahang Iaalay ang Kanyang Lakas At Buhay”. 

The new soldiers will be deployed to the different line units of the 7ID.
