138 Barangays in Caloocan City now free of COVID-19

CALOOCAN City – THE number of coronavirus disease or COVID-19 free barangays in this city continues to increase after latest data shows that 138 barangays have been registered with no active cases.

According to the City Health Department, of the 188 total barangays in the city, only 50 barangays currently have active cases.

Meanwhile, it is estimated that the total number of recoveries or those who have recovered from the disease is at 11,596.

Mayor Oca Malapitan expresses his gratitude to every citizen who joins in the fight against the deadly virus.

Thank you so much for your cooperation. Following health and safety protocols is a big, big thing in neutralizing this pandemic,” Malapitan stressed.

“May we continue to be part of this successful battle until we reach the main goal of becoming COVID-19 free in all our barangays,” Malapitan added.
