A PILLAR of the entertainment industry in the Philippines, Johnny Manahan, known locally as “Mr. M,” officially moved back to GMA-Network.
He will work as consultant to GMA Artist Center, the talent development pool of GMA Network, and will not do any directing.
The renowned starmaker, whose illustrious 5-decade-long career is marked by his discovery of some of the greatest luminaries in the Philippine entertainment world and for his directorial work, said he will help fill in the gaps in the GMA Artist Center and will help develop the stars there “and give them a brighter shine,” he told GMA-7 reporters.
He is now beginning to getting himself familiar with GMA’s roster of artists and mentioned that their aim is to develop a new breed of GMA talents.
“Mr. M” likewise thanked GMA executives led by GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon for the opportunity to work with the network and become a Kapuso.
