VALENZUELA City police nabbed a 35-year-old male listed among the city’s Top 8 most wanted during a Simultaneous Enhanced Managing Police Operation (SEMPO) in the city.
According to Valenzuela Police chief, Police Lt. Col. Aldrin Thompson, operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) of the Valenzuela police received information that the accused, Jonathan Regacho, 35 years old, of No. 1 Sitio Libis, Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City, was seen in the area.
An arresting team was immediately formed to conduct the operation.
Together with operatives from Sub-Station 2 and 5th Mobile Force Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion, National Capital Region Police Office (MFC-RMFB-NCRPO), the WSS immediately conducted a joint manhunt operation led by PLt. Joel Madregalejo, PSSgt. Archie Castillano, PSSgt. Raul Quimbo, PSSgt. Erwin Castro, PSSgt. Jonathan Garcia, PSSgt. Junrey Singgit, PCpl. Jeffrey Natural Jr., and PCpl. Julius Ceazar Tabarrejo, that resulted in the immediate arrest of the accused around 1:40 pm at Sitio Libis, Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City.
According to PCpl. Tabarrejo, the accused was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Orven Kuan Ontalan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 285, Valenzuela City for Frustrated Murder.
Northern Police District (NPD) Director PBGen. Ulysses Cruz praised the Valenzuela police under Thompson for the successful arrest of the accused.
