METROPOLITAN Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman Benhur Abalos said on Monday that National Capital Region (NCR) mayors have agreed to vaccinate each other’s residents.
However, Abalos said those who would want to be vaccinated in another LGU should first secure a vaccination schedule and obtain a QR code from the target LGU
“Now we are going to vaccinate as one,” Abalos declared.
The MMDA chair revealed that they are looking at implementing the same vaccination strategy to include nearby provinces within the NCR’s perimeter like Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite.
There will also be a uniform registration for vaccination, MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia noted.
