Hermosa, Bataan – Police arrested two male suspects on Thursday morning in a follow-up operation after they allegedly robbed an Alfamart branch in Barangay Balsik, Hermosa, Bataan, the previous day.
Hermosa Chief of Police Major Phoe Pangan identified the suspects as residents of Barangay Saguing, Dinalupihan, Bataan, aged 31 and 32. They reportedly stole P201,000 from the store.
Authorities recovered a motorcycle used in the crime, a helmet, and a toy gun, which the suspects allegedly used to threaten store employees.
Police swiftly reviewed CCTV footage and, with the help of a witness, tracked the suspects to Barangay Saguing, where they were arrested Thursday morning.
The suspects are now in police custody at the Hermosa Police Station, with charges being prepared against them.
Notably, in 2023, the same Alfamart branch was also robbed. However, that suspect was neutralized during a police response.
