The Medical City South Luzon (TMC-SL) launched recently its Mobile Clinic amid the current pandemic and the increasing demand for healthcare.

Dr. Jose Enrico Juliano, an ophthalmologist and chief operating officer of TMC-SL, said  the mobile clinic is a specially-designed vehicle made to provide a wide range of quality healthcare services.

Among them are laboratory and diagnostic services such as x-ray and ECG, ophthalmology screening and referrals to ophthalmologists and other medical specialists for teleconsultation.

The mobile facility aims to serve all employees from different locators of industrial parks such as the Laguna Technopark Inc., Laguna International Industrial Park, Carmelray 1 and 2, and First Philippine Industrial Park, as well as residents of neighboring communities, by giving them easy and convenient access to quality heathcare.

The clinic will have a scheduled regular visit once a week in different companies and communities to provide easy and safe access to health care services.

For business owners, having the mobile clinic at their location will help in their employees’ productivity by providing them easy access to diagnostic tests.

Having access to a regular health care provider will help people living in these communities receive health care and support closer to home.

It will also help save time and transportation costs for patients by bringing primary healthcare services to their community.

Formerly known as Southern Luzon Hospital and Medical Center, TMC South Luzon was inaugurated in October 2007. It serves patients from Southern Luzon, particularly the provinces of Laguna, Batangas, and Cavite. It was designated by the local government of Santa Rosa as a major referral center for COVID-19 patients. It has a separate facility called “Complex of Hope,” making TMC-SL as one of the safest hospitals in the region.

One of the leading innovators in the healthcare industry, TMC South Luzon has the most comprehensive Eye Center in the region and is poised to be the Cardiovascular Center of Southern Luzon.

The hospital will soon launch an HIV Treatment Hub, Kidney and Stone Center, ENT Center and Neuro Critical Care Unit.
