A 19-year-old guy was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Navotas City police after he was caught with 450 grams of dried marijuana leaves.
The suspect was identified by Navotas police chief Col. Rolando Balasabas as Jeffrey Flores, from 506 B. Cruz St., Brgy. Tangos South, Navotas City.
According to Col. Balasabas, it was around 11:15 pm when operatives from the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) under Police Lt. Genere Sanchez conducted the buy-bust operation at A. Cruz St., Brgy. Tangos South.
The suspect allegedly sold P1,500 worth of dried marijuana leaves to an undercover operative who posed as a buyer. The police pounced on him once the marked money was handed over to the operative.
Seized from the suspect was 450 grams of suspected dried marijuana leaves amounting to about P54,000, buy-bust money and a P1,000 bill.
The suspect is charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
