Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose L. Aliño announced the inauguration of the Subic Freeport Shooting Range Inc., located along Corregidor Highway in the Ilanin Forest. The project represents a committed investment of P25 million.

The commercial shooting range aims to promote target shooting as a competitive sport while developing world-class shooters within the Freeport.

The facility spans 3,000 square meters and is housed in a former U.S. Navy building (Building 2027). It includes a 100-square-meter indoor range and features advanced amenities designed to meet global standards. The range is operated under a 25-year lease agreement and employs 15 personnel.

In addition to its commercial use, the facility offers free access to SBMA Law Enforcement personnel for training purposes under a special provision.

“This facility highlights our commitment to fostering sports excellence while providing vital support for law enforcement training,” Aliño said during the opening ceremony.
