THE number of students who enrolled for school year 2022 to 2023 continues to increase.
Based on latest data from the Department of Education (DepEd), the number of early enrolees already reached an overall 2,571,170 students under Kindergarten, Grades 1, 7, and 11.
The most number who enrolled came from Region 4-A that reached 257,849. Region 5 followed with 232,889 and the National Capital Region with 190,317.
The DepEd earlier announced that early registration is just one step in helping schools prepare for the surge in enrollment, especially in the printing of self-learning modules.
The DepEd, meanwhile, continues to urge students to avail of early registration until Saturday, April 30, 2022.
