Taking charge in enforcing the border control is the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO).

Aside from Bulacan, the provinces of Rizal, Cavite and Laguna were also placed under a more restrictive Alert Level 3 from January 3-15.

On Thursday, the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) has raised Alert Level 3 in 14 other cities and provinces due to the alarming increase in the number of COVID-19 cases over the past days, according to Acting Presidential Spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexei Nograles.

Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando has ordered PCol. Manuel Lukban, Acting Provincial Director of the Bulacan PNP to immediately put in place stricter border control points along the boundaries of Bulacan particularly at the entry points coming from the National Capital Region (NCR).
