Spider-Man fans in the Philippines got a chance to bring the web-slinger’s latest adventure closer to home as a new wave of movie-themed activities and collectibles rolled out nationwide.
The sweet-talking superhero’s latest adventures coincides with the launch of exclusive Spider-Man: Brand New Day Happy Meal and Premium Collectibles through McDonald’s Philippines, bringing the excitement of Marvel’s beloved superhero beyond the big screen through nationwide Drive-Thru activations and exclusive opening weekend block screenings.
The celebration for Spider-Man: Brand New Day featured limited-edition McDonald’s toys, interactive experiences and surprise appearances that gave fans new ways to enjoy the Marvel superhero beyond the cinema.
Among the offerings introduced by McDonald’s Philippines were 10 Spider-Man backpack toy designs included with select McDonald’s Happy Meals. Each box also carried a QR code that unlocked a Spider-Man-themed interactive game.
Four premium collectible figures were also made available for an additional P165 with the purchase of any meal. Fans could choose from Upside-Down Spider-Man, Crouching Spider-Man, Hammock Spider-Man and Side Hang Spider-Man.
The superhero also made surprise appearances at select Drive-Thru locations nationwide, where he greeted customers, handed over meals, posed for photos and even took orders.
The activations were designed to turn routine family outings into more memorable Spider-Man encounters, particularly for young fans.
The movie’s opening weekend also drew crowds at exclusive screenings held at Trinoma Cinema in Quezon City and Glorietta 4 Cinemas in Makati. Both screenings reached full capacity, bringing together fans and members of the media to celebrate the latest chapter in the Spider-Man franchise.
The limited-edition McDonald’s Happy Meal toys and premium collectibles are available at participating stores nationwide while supplies last, giving fans a chance to complete their Spider-Man collection as the film continues its run.
