A TOTAL of 15.2 million students have already enrolled for School Year 2022-2023,
According to the Department of Education (DepEd), the most number of enrollees was recorded at Region IV-A at 2.2 million, followed by the National Capital Region (NCR) with 1.7 million at Region 3 with 1.5 million.
DepEd spokesperson Michael Poa said there was good turnout for enrollment this year wherein three modes of enrollment were used: in-person, remote, and drop-box.
Poa also reiterated that classes in schools this year will open on August 22, 2022, even in areas affected by the recent earthquake.
It was learned that a total of 28.6 million students will enroll this year.
