CAMP VICENTE LIM, Calamba City, Laguna -Turn-over ceremony of Police Regional Office CALABARZON (PRO 4-A) of Philippine National Police was cancelled yesterday (November 12) due to typhoon ‘Ulysses’.
The newly-installed Calabarzon Regional Director Police Brigadier General Felipe Natividad immediately alerted the full forces of the entire unit and prioritize the quick response to all affected areas and conduct necessary precautionary measures for Search and Rescue operations.
RD Natividad conducted an emergency meeting, he said “I would like to start my first day of stint as Regional Director of PRO4A by assuring our kababayans that no one will be left behind. Ang inyong kapulisan ay patuloy na magsasagawa ng Search and Rescue operations upang masigurado na lahat ay mailigtas at malayo sa anumang kapahamakan.
PNP CALABARZON has already rescued a total of 708 persons and still on the ground to further conduct search and rescue operations especially to areas mostly affected by heavy rains and flood.
Natividad was replaced after Police Brig. General Vicente Danao Jr., who is now designated as Chief of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) by President Rodrigo Duterte.
