OUTGOING Vice President Leni Robredo proved that she is walking her talk by launching the Angat Buhay program, shortly after supporters’ call to keep it active.

No longer waiting for another day to pass once her term ends, Robredo is set to already introduce her highly-anticipated non-government organization (NGO) to the public on July 1 at the camp’s volunteer center in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City.

In a Facebook post, Robredo encouraged her supporters to join the event and added that the program will also hold a mixed activity composed of a street and art festival.

Sa July 1 na ang launching ng Angat Buhay! Kita-kits tayo sa ating Volunteer Center sa Katipunan, kung saan meron ring gaganapin na street and art festival,” Robredo shared.

She further assured that strict health observation among attendees will be imposed upon entering the venue due to the recurring increase of COVID-19 cases.

Dahil na rin sa pagtaas muli ng mga kaso ng COVID-19, magiging maingat tayo sa pagpasok ng mga bisita sa Volunteer Center,” Robredo emphasized.

Robredo’s supporters did not waver to express their interest to join the program even after the previous 2022 national election favored her rival’s camp.

The Vice President also asked supporters to look forward to further details through Angat Buhay’s official social media platforms.

Angat Buhay was first launched in October 2016 as part of the Office of the Vice President’s response to combat poverty across the country.

The program aims to provide a bridge that connects organizations and individuals from both public and private sectors to cater to the needs of the unprivileged and unfortunate Filipinos living in remote areas.
