ACTING Presidential Spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexei Nograles confirmed that President Rodrigo Duterte was brought to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan City.
But Nograles reiterated that the hospital visit was only for a routine medical check up of the president.
However, Nograles remained mum as to the date the president was brought to the hospital.
Nograles earlier confirmed that the president is under mandatory quarantine after he was exposed to a household staff who tested positive of COVID-19 last Sunday, January 30, and immediately took an RT-PCR test.
On Monday, the RT-PCR test result of the president was released, and was negative. The same test was repeated the following day, February 1, and was also negative.
However, there is no reply yet from Nograles as to when the president went to the hospital for his check up.
