“HINDI kami nag-isyu ng Permit sa anumang Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO)”.
Ito ang paglilinaw ni Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano na 100% na sumusuporta ang lungsod sa panawagan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. na wakasan ang mga ilegal na operasyon ng POGO sa bansa.
“We do not tolerate unlawful activities within our jurisdiction. The Pasay LGU has already implemented and will continue to enforce strict measures to curb POGO operations in our jurisdictions.” ani Rubiano
Aniya, kabilang dito ang pinaigting na pagsubaybay, mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng regulasyon, at hindi natitinag na pakikipagtulungan sa lahat ng law enforcement agencies.
“My administration is taking a strong stance against any form of POGO operations. We are increasing enforcement efforts and collaborating closely with national authorities. Anyone found violating the law will face consequences,” paglilinaw pa ng alkalde.
Nasa mahigit 13,000 establisyimento ngayong taon ang naisyuhan aniya, ng business permit na sumailalim sa masusing pagsusuri at hindi sila nagbigay ng permit sa anumang POGO.
Giit pa nito na ang kamakailang ni-raid na mga pasilidad ng POGO ay patago ang operasyon mna walang anumang lisensya na inisyu ng local na pamahalaan.
“Pasay City has a zero-tolerance policy towards POGO operations, regardless of whether they are disguised, temporary, or operated as dummy entities. POGOs are not allowed in our city. This is not just a symbolic gesture; it reflects our commitment to eliminating POGO operations in our city,” paglilinaw pa ng opisyal.
