Philippines has now 412,097 active cases of COVID-19

More than 1,000 new cases of Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19 have been recorded in the Philippines today, Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

Based on the latest data from the Department of Health (DOH), a total of 412,097 confirmed cases of the virus, of that number, 29,474 or 7.2 percent are active cases.

The department said there are 1,383 new COVID-19 cases that were recorded today.

83.8 percent of active cases are mild; 8.3 percent are asymptomatic; 0.22 percent moderate; 2.7 percent are severe while 4.9 percent are in critical condition.

Meanwhile, there are about 95 deaths recorded.

As a result, COVID-19 related deaths in the country have risen to 7,957 or 1.93 percent while 143 have recovered from the disease.

The total recoveries of COVID-19 in the Philippines have risen to 374,666 or 90.9 percent.
