THE Philippine Embassy in Riyadh confirmed that no Filipino was affected by the attack in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia that happened on March 20 and 25, 2022.
The Embassy and the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah continue to coordinate with local authorities and the Filipino community to ensure the safety and security of Filipinos in the kingdom.
Filipinos are likewise advised to continue to monitor the security advisories and to coordinate with the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh or the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah in case of an emergency.
The Philippines is one with the community of nations in jointly condemning these dastardly acts of aggression and joins the call for the immediate cessation of violence directed against civilians.
It can be recalled that Yemeni Houthi forces fired a missile that hit the Saudi Aramco oil company distribution station located in Jeddah.
