THE National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF) said that the arrival of the Pfizer vaccines to be used to vaccinate kids under the 5-11 age group will push through tonight as scheduled.
This was confirmed by the NTF after the scheduled delivery date last night was moved to tonight, February 4, 2022.
A total of 780,000 doses of Pfizer will arrive at the NAIA 3 aboard Air Hongkong Flight LD 456.
The vaccines were procured by the government specifically for the above-mentioned age group.
The NTF earlier explained that the delay in the arrival of the vaccines was due to a logistical issue.
With the arrival of the vaccines tonight, the government said it will push through with the vaccination for 5-11 year-old kids on Monday, February 7.
