THE driver of a trailer truck was dead while three others were injured when the truck hit a house fence before falling off a deep ravine in Barangay Bangal, Dinalupihan town in Bataan Saturday noon.
Police Colonel Emerlito dela Cruz, Dinalupihan Police chief, identified the fatality as Eric Navares.
Based on the initial investigation, the driver lost control of the wheel while traversing the Olongapo-Gapan Road so the driver decided to drive the truck toward a steel fence of a house owned by a certain Merlita Perez.
The truck fell off the ravine after hitting the house.
Two members of the truck crew was able to jump off the truck before it fell and sustained injuries. Also wounded was an elderly person in the Perez residence.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
