THE blessing and groundbreaking ceremony of the first-ever Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB)-registered enterprise outside of the Mariveles FAB was formally held this week.
The Dinalupihan Woodlands Economic and Freeport Zone located in Brgy. Pinulot, Dinalupihan, Bataan is seen to generate more employment and revenue for the local government unit of Dinalupihan.
In a business presentation held at the Bulwagan ng Dinalupihan, Mayor Gila Garcia assured that an estimated 100,000 new jobs will be generated in the next five years once all facilities of the locators are completed with the SINOSUN Group of Companies taking the lead, plus all other investors in the fields of financial services, housing, manufacturing, renewable energy, and modern agriculture.
On the other hand, an estimated P200 million in terms of taxes for Dinalupihan coming from real property taxes paid by locators in the Freeport zone.

Leading the groundrbreaking ceremony were Bataan Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Bataan 2nd District Congressman Joet Garcia, Dinalupihan Mayor Gila Garcia, AFAB Administrator Emmanuel Pineda and investors led by Atty. Elmer Sy.
