THE occupancy rate in HOPE Community Caring quarantine facilities in Quezon City experienced a decline by about 80 percent.
Based on data from the Quezon City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (QCESU), as of January 27, only 96 beds remain occupied in the 12 quarantine facilities of the city, or about 6.06 percent of its 1,585 total bed capacity.
This means an 80-percent decline from the 995 occupied beds last January 14, 2022.
As for the three public hospitals in the city, Quezon City General Hospital has a 44-percent occupancy rate in its COVID-19 ICU, and 33 percent for its COVID-19 ward. Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital, on the other hand, has a 72-percent occupancy rate, and 93.75-percent occupancy rate for Novaliches District Hospital.
